Contracts: adding or editing a new contract



Adding a Contract to a person or organisation:
  • Step 1: check the person / organisation exists on the database - open Contacts. Important to remember that a person / organisation only needs to be added once. Any number of Contracts can be linked to them. (Image 1)
  • Step 2: click the Contract tab to view existing contract - click the Go button to edit / view (Image 2). Note: the Financial, Equipment and Incidences tabs which are related to the specific contract you are viewing (Image 3).
  • Step 3: to add a link to the actual contract (i.e. MS Word / PDF document) you need to create a Hyperlink. From the Contact form (Image 1), click Navigation > Hyperlinks. Click the Browse button to locate the document on your server (Image 4).
